The evolution of cars in the early sixties led Alfa Romeo to increase the capacity and performance of the Giulietta Spider. 

The Giulia 1600 Spider “series 101.23” was born in 1962 from the evolution of the Giulietta Spider “series 101.03”. 

The cars are almost identical from the aesthetic point of view, except for the existence of a false air intake on the hood of the Giulia needed to house the new engine and the word “1600” on the tail of the one -this.

While for the “Veloce” version, there were two carburetors. 

It is equipped with a five-speed synchronized manual gearbox. 

The first 5,600 cars had drum brakes on all four wheels. 

In 1963, disc brakes will be added to the front. 

Its maximum speed reached is 172 km / h.

The Veloce version was introduced in 1964; it had two dual-body carburettors that had power at 112 hp at 6,500 rpm and a top speed of over 180 km / h.

In total, 8850 copies will be produced from 1962 to 1965

1981 ALPINE A310 V6 / 19900 €


The mission of the A310 was to conquer new customers that found the A110 berlinette too spartan. 

Indeed, the A310 has a much higher comfort, as well as two small rear seats that allow it to take the qualifier of 2 + 2.

1989 JAGUAR XJS 3.6L /€13500


The  Jaguar XJ-S  (then  Jaguar XJS ) – (XJ27) is a luxurious GT produced between 1975 and 1996.

The XJ-S replaced the Type E in September 1975, based on the platform of the shortened XJ sedan.

1994 VENTURI TRANSCUP 260 / €79000


The Transcups are the cabriolets of the car manufacturer Venturi. They are characterized by a hard roof in two parts that can convert the car into coupe, targa or cabriolet. These two parts fit under the front bonnet. Five engines are available, from 160 to 260 horses. 

The first appearance of the Transcup Venturi was at the Paris Motor Show of 1988 after a new deficit year for the brand. However, its production really begins in 1990. This elegant and ingenious model is designed by Gerard Godfroy who managed to create a convertible in a rear mid-engined vehicle. It is essentially based on the 200 Coupé. The production of the model stops in 1995 with the disappearance of Transcup 210 and 260. 

The Venturi Transcup 260, equipped with a 260hp engine was produced in 17 copies.

1989 PORSCHE 944 2,7L PHASE 2 /€1700


After being announced in June 1981, the 944 was presented in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It is produced from November 1981, and marketed at the end of the same year.

The front-engined Porsches were planned to modernize the aging image of the famous  911  and ensure a more balanced road handling thanks to a better weight distribution. 

Externally, it inherits the lines of its predecessor 924, released five years earlier, while showing a more sporty style. It comes from the drawings of Anatole Lapine, Latvian designer also responsible for the 928.

The Ad that caught our attention is this 944, which was first put into circulation in 1989, so it would seem to be a 2,7l phase 2. 

According to its owner there are “a few things to redo, body is intact, front Porsches rear seats, original wheels. ” 

The body appears to be actually in good condition although it is in the grass so remember to check the bases. The driver’s seat does seem to be in good shape however, we have no picture of the dashboard. 

It is likely that it does not start, the seller specifies although it is sold “as is” and without any “contrôle technique”. The seller has another engine if necessary that could be included in the deal.

In any case, it will be necessary to change the timing belt and check the cooling system.
