1994 VENTURI TRANSCUP 260 / €79000

Historic

The Transcups are the cabriolets of the car manufacturer Venturi. They are characterized by a hard roof in two parts that can convert the car into coupe, targa or cabriolet. These two parts fit under the front bonnet. Five engines are available, from 160 to 260 horses. 

The first appearance of the Transcup Venturi was at the Paris Motor Show of 1988 after a new deficit year for the brand. However, its production really begins in 1990. This elegant and ingenious model is designed by Gerard Godfroy who managed to create a convertible in a rear mid-engined vehicle. It is essentially based on the 200 Coupé. The production of the model stops in 1995 with the disappearance of Transcup 210 and 260. 

The Venturi Transcup 260, equipped with a 260hp engine was produced in 17 copies.

The ad that caught our attention is this beautiful Venturi 260 Transcup red Kirsh with a leather interior biscuit with the woodwork on the doors option, put into circulation December 27, 1994, copy number 14 on only 17 Venturi Transcup 260 manufactured displaying 39,000 km on the counter. 

The vehicle has a complete history, a large file of bills, it is in exceptional condition, ready to take the road. 

It has undergone a major restoration in 2018 with more than 30 000 euros in bills (body, chassis, upholstery, rims, tires, engine, etc.).

This one is very desirable, a real sports car worthy of the Venturi brand.

1961 FACEL VEGA HK 500 /€165000

History

The Facel-Vega HK 500 (type  HK  then  HK1 ) is a French Grand Touring car produced between 1958 and 1961.

It is the ultimate evolution of the series of coupés  FV  started in 1954.

The name  HK 500  comes from its exceptional weight / power ratio for the time of five kilos per horse.

A true commercial success, it will be produced at 490 copies until May 1961 then disappearing in favor of Facel II.

The Ad that caught our attention is this really beautiful Facel Vega HK500, delivered new in France in 1961, it just has been serviced for the sale at Tisserand, specialised in Facel Vega brand. 

According to its seller, this car has not undergone any cosmetic or technical changes since its delivery in 1961.  

The car is really beautiful, serviced, matching numbers and can leave by the road whatever the distance ! An expertise file comes with the car.

1968 LHD TRIUMPH TR5 PI /€48000

History

Triumph TR5 PI (or Triumph TR250 for the North American market) are models produced between 1967 and 1969.

The TR5, evolution of the Triumph TR4, is designed by the Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti, and officially presented on October 3, 1967 against its competitors MG MGB, Austin-Healey 3000, Fiat Dino, Mercedes-Benz Pagoda, Jaguar Type E …

It was produced for a short period of 13 months from August 1967 to September 1968 in Coventry, UK, before being replaced by the Triumph TR6. 

It takes up most of the technical and aesthetic attributes of Triumph TR4, so much so that it is difficult to differentiate at first glance.

It is powered by a new 2.5-liter in-line 6-cylinder engine with Lucas mechanical injection (PI: the industry’s first injection system in the automotive industry), for 150 hp DIN, and a speed of 209 km / h, instead of the 104 hp 4-cylinder TR4.

Produced at 2947 ex in Europe, it is one of the rarest TR collection car models to date.

The Ad

The Ad that caught our attention is this Triumph TR5 PI in very good condition that was put into circulation on June 19, 1968. 
Dark blue color with a Gallic leather interior, it was restored entirely from the chassis, it is equipped with the overdrive and surrey top. 

The engine was tuned to reach 200hp instead of the initial 150 with a balanced nitrided crankshaft and connecting rods, a sports camshaft, a Kenlo decompression box and an improved BOSCH injection pump. 

It is equipped with 4-piston calipers and Koni shock absorbers. 

Its price is in the average compared to a “normal” TR5 PI, the modifications and restoration done make it an interesting car to go see.
